It behoves me at this juncture to explain the books that might interest you, although they are in the publishing stage at xlibris.com :-

ACROSS CONTINENTS This is almost biographical. It explains my life in Nyeri, later Nairobi, with a short sojourn in India. Later England, and after obtaining my Medical Degree and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, I came back to Kenya and went into General Practice for about 4 yrs. I returned to England and spcialized in Ophthalmology, and worked in the National Health Service but only to be disenchanted with the whole setup, hence after a trip for looking around, we settled in Red Deer, Alberta where I practiced for over thirty years. It is a readable book as it is a continuous story with some of the amusing episodes in mine and my family's life as we flew through that whole time in a blink. Make sure you buy it as if you have any connections with Kenya or any of the other countries, you will enjoy reading it and it will help defray some of the expenses inherent in this form of a exasperating exercise. I migjt add that I have a wonderful family.

J.D.'S ANGUISH This book is a fictitious book about our hero as we trace his life in Somnath, India, Uganda, England etc. I managed to travel to Somnath only to become sick, but India, fascinates me, like many other people. I have done a lot of research into somnath, and in relation to Mahmood Gizni who invaded the place about 17 times to loot and plunder all the gold, and kill anyone who showed any resistance, h/o Joseph Koni, Amin etc in Uganda, the uprising or Mutiny in India in1857, and many other historical facts. I love sayings as my mother was fulol of it, and in her memory, I always looked for a saying that typified that chapter etc, making it readable and enjoyabel book, I think and hope. Whatever,

Govind

Govind
