A good movie. Oldie. Kirk Douglas (father of Michael Douglas), plays the part of a preacher who denies the Darwinian theory of evolution. Good courtroom drama. Some scriptures taken from the Bible are taken at face value and proven out of date. Do see it.
The single man :
Our society is obsessed with sex, homosexuality etc. Is it because perversion is on the increase, or, is it just coming out, and we were rotten from the beginning?
Anyway, this male professor had relation with another male for 16 yrs. He dies, and the man is heart broken. another neighbor, whose marriage broke up after nine years, tried to make friends with him. But he was unhappy and contemplated suicide. He meets another young man at college, and talk about drugs etc. Before he gets a chance to commit suicide, he has a hear attack and dies.!! Irony of nature!!
(Kirk Douglas actually visited LTH in Nyeri, to buy a camera film, when he was in Kenya, probably when a movie was being made.
